Be Intentional 2020 Clear Vision

What is it to be intentional? Ecclesiastes 9:10-12

To be purposeful in words and in action.

To live a meaningful and fulfilled life.

Making a thoughtful choice of life.

Actively interact and engage within life.

Jesus was explicit in his examples in the book of John 15:1- 6 “As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned”.

God is the caretaker; Jesus is the vine and you are the branches.

According to John chapter 15, God dresses the vine, Jesus supplies and nurtures the whole body "vine" with the provision of nutrients and strength. For without Christ, we can do absolutely nothing. If you dwell or abide with him, we shall not run dry.

However, when we ignore him, we will certainly become nothing (as a branch that produces no Fruit). For every grace received, there is an expectation.

God is our salt, light, solace, abode, strength, joy and helper to his branches.  Whenever a river separates from its source, it certainly runs dry.

To know God is to be more informed about his nature and character.  The God you assume you know and know nothing about might result in a risky move. When you barely know nothing of his nature, his concept, rules, and character, the result is a big collision course (Hebrews 12:29 ‘For God is a consuming fire’). We must learn to approach him with trembling and fear and give preference to him in our learning and studying more about him and his ways. Work and study more of God in the year 2020 you will see more clearly.
